Gift Nyoni

Gift is a consultant senior caseworker with almost a decade’s experience in immigration, asylum and nationality matters. This includes asylum and human rights claims, applications for immigration bail, deportation and removal matters, and appeals to the First-Tier and Upper-Tier Tribunals. He has a special interest in assisting clients with significant health and mental health needs, as well as asylum seekers who are survivors of torture and trafficking.

Prior to coming on board as a consultant, Gift worked at Wilson Solicitors LLP, where he completed his solicitor training contract, specialising in immigration and asylum as well as immigration-related private and public law challenges against the state. He has also worked for a number of leading human rights firms and organisations including Garden Court Chambers, Gold Jennings Solicitors, Bhatt Murphy Solicitors, and the Mental Disability Advocacy Center in Budapest.

Outside of work Gift enjoys running, cycling, travel and creative writing.
