High Potential Individual Visa: Global Universities List 2023 Released
On 1st November 2023 the Home Office released the 2023 global universities list which can be viewed here: https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/high-potential-individual-visa-global-universities-list/high-potential-individual-visa-global-universities-list-2023
To be eligible for a High Potential Individual Visa you must have a degree level academic qualification from a university listed on the Global Universities List within the last 5 years.
The Global Universities List 2023 relates to qualifications awarded between 1 November 2023 and 31 October 2024.

Applicants should check the list for the year they were awarded their qualification to determine eligibility.
The High Potential Individual Visa UK is designed for graduates from top universities who wish to work and live in the UK.
The duration of the initial visa will depend on the applicant’s qualification. Applicants with a Ph.D. or other doctoral level qualification will be issued with a 3 year visa. Applicants with other degree qualifications will be granted a 2 year visa. Applicants can extend their visa and switch into different categories leading to settlement.
